REDESSA INNOREUS Innovation and Business Centre
The new REDESSA INNOREUS Innovation and BusinessCenter is conceived as a facility capable of becoming a landmark within thetechnology campus, a place designed to foster relationships between people,companies, and activities. Its layout and articulated geometry allow forcontinuity and fluidity between the site's exterior spaces and pedestrianconnections to the campus, naturally integrating architecture and vegetationinto a single fabric. The area designated for future expansion is configuredfrom the first phase as a large open space, conceived as an outdoor forum and aplace for meeting, strolling, and relaxing, so that the building's growth canproceed without substantially altering the existing vegetation and landscape.
The building'sorganization revolves around two main elements, conceived simultaneously asspaces for interaction and bioclimatic features. A central courtyardconcentrates circulation, fosters daily encounters among users, and acts as anatural regulator of ventilation and temperature throughout the year. Inaddition, there are spacious outdoor work and relaxation areas, facing southand connected to the courtyard. These areas, thanks to a lightweight,retractable enclosure system, can function as winter gardens, expanding theirusability and improving their climate performance. The ground floor housesservice areas, a cafeteria, and a continuous strip of flexible spaces linked tolandscaped outdoor areas, while the upper floors are designed with a high degreeof adaptability, accommodating offices of varying sizes.
The building's faceted geometry creates a diverse andsophisticated spatial experience without compromising the overall functionalclarity. The courtyard, circulation areas, outdoor spaces on each floor, andthe office layout—all featuring double lighting and natural ventilation—definea serene, bright, and comfortable work environment. The project prioritizes theintegration of natural elements into the site, limiting impermeable paving andcreating landscaped areas designed for everyday use, outdoor work, andrelaxation. The building is constructed using a dry, industrialized system witha mixed steel and wood structure and CLT cladding, ensuring rapid execution, areduced carbon footprint, and near-zero energy consumption.
